Future Olympians?

We have been living the Olympic dream in gym for the last week and a bit!  Here we are practicing some events. . . . .

The luge . . . one person had to sit on the scooter and the other person had to push them around the course!





Ice dancing . . . . we put on our "skates" (scarves) and then we were off!  We twirled. . . we jumped. . . and we . . . . fell!  Just like real Olympians!

Biatholon. . .  we had to run up, touch a cone, run some more, touch another cone, then run back and lie down to try and throw a bean bag into a hoop!  It was hard!

    We LOVED your blog about the Olympics! At our school we all watched Canada VS. USA hockey game in the gym! It was 1-0 Canada! When Canada score the crowd went WILD!! Did you guys watch the hockey game?

    Thank you for looking at our blog. We didn't watch the hockey game at school because we weren't at school on Friday. We had a professional day. Some of us watched the hockey game at home. Did you do anything special for the Olympics?
